IDHR - Reasonable Accommodations and Modifications

In honor of the Illinois Bicentennial and the 50th Anniversary of the Federal Fair Housing Act, the Illinois Department of Human Rights (IDHR) and Access Living came together with the shared goal of producing a valuable resource for housing professionals that identifies complex issues and provides guidance on granting reasonable accommodations and modifications in housing. The electronic release of “Reasonable Accommodations and Modifications: A Guide for Housing Professionals” comes as a follow up to the April 2018 Fair Housing Seminar that was sponsored by Illinois REALTORS® in partnership with Illinois 200 and the John Marshall Law School Fair Housing Legal Clinic.
