June 2021 Extra Special Feature

 We usually choose one article a month for our Special Feature; however, this month we have decided to include this excellent article from The Crisis that has been circulated throughout the Illinois Aging Network .  "Aging While Black: The Crisis Among Black Americans as They Grow Old" by Rodney A Brooks highlights how lifelong experiences of racial, economic and health inequities affect the ways Black Americans experience aging.
